March 23 - Heading into uncharted waters.....

While searching this past week for the directions on 'how to re-invent school in less than a week', I came across the above photo. I imagine that we are all feeling a version of the quote in the photo, and personally, I wish I had one of those fancy canoes to help me navigate the waters ahead. While we do not have a map, we do have internal compasses and determination. The way you have stepped up, worked together and jumped 'into the deep end head first' is inspiring and much appreciated. Your positive attitude and creativity will help us set sail with great momentum as we officially send off for the great beyond. Good luck and don't forget your life vest. 

By the way, I never did find those directions, but I'm confident that we are creating a solid version for future explorers to follow. Thanks for you hard work and commitment. Below is an excerpt from a parent - and I think she got it right. 

"First and foremost thank you (teachers) for all your effort and energy to make this successful. We feel very confident PA is on it and we will support our kids to meet the challenge."

Other days - reach out 1:1 or small group to check in on your advisees and see if they need anything. Report to Michele or a guidance counselor if you are concerned about a student. The EST team is ready to step in and help.
