April 25 - Welcome Back!

Here we go....the grass is getting greener, the air a bit warmer, and the students a bit more restless. There are 34 days of instruction left until Finals. Five Best Practice meetings remain on the calendar.
This is a great time of year, but things get a bit hectic and intense as graduation looms around the corner. This is the time of year where we all need to help encourage our seniors (and everyone else) to finish out the year with a strong push. For some students, this is the time of year when they begin to 'slack off' and even give up. As soon as you see a student changing their patterns and/or falling behind step in and help and let us (particularly the EST team: Eric, Carrie, Steve, Rebecca and I) know. We want to help.

PS - Thanks to everyone, especially the culture committee, for organizing a fun lunch and TA games on Friday prior to break. That was great way to launch into break.

FYI - Traffic issue that may effect your commute:

For your information,  Bridge Street from Brooklyn Street to the truck route will be closed on or about May 1st for six weeks to replace the water lines,  sidewalks and repave the street.  Please keep this in mind when you are directing anyone coming in or going out of Morristown.  The "old" route through town and up Brooklyn Street will be open.
