May 30 - Last Weekly Notes

Thank you Peter G, Dan B, Janet, Brian, Rachel and others for helping to prepare students and the gym for the Memorial Day Observance. And, thanks to everyone else for helping to manage the audience. It went off smoothly because of your efforts.

I could thank each of you over and over for the many ways you've helped this year. There are so many countless ways to thank you for your hard work and diligence this year from stepping up in a pinch to substitute for a colleague, helping to organize events like the Elmore Hike or Service Day, supporting a student in a crisis, staying after or coming in early to help a student make up an assignment, answering the phones in the office, or staying up all night to get your lesson plan just right. Your efforts have been noticed and appreciated. It's been a hard year, mostly because of our shifting approach to school. I thank you for working through our many challenges with grace, fortitude, and patience for each other. It's also been a good year, Thank You for great year!

End of Year is soon upon us:
Apparently Escargot is now a popular snack.

Below are a few key things to remember for the upcoming weeks.

However, for those who want to look ahead and check out the resources, click on this link: M3:Mindset, Metacognition, Motivation. There will be many opportunities (and tools in the curriculum) to use this work in your classrooms.
