The LAST Weekly Notes
The sun is setting on 2018-19 |
As our year winds down (or is it winding up?) I am always reminded of how special you all are, too. Come mid-may, you, like the mountains, explode with energy and color. Neither you nor the trees have a choice. It comes with the territory. But, you both celebrate and accept the inevitable burst of energy and lightning fast growth that comes with Spring. For the mountains, it's the start of a long season of growth, for us it's the end of another fruitful year. Thanks again for your hard work, dedication and care for your craft and students. You are amazing. But, the sun ain't set yet, so hang in there as we wind our way through our final classes, exhibitions of learning, Last Chapel, Graduation and planning for next year.

Culture Corner
We are all very sad to see Rebecca leave. Thank you for your super hard work and dedication to making PA's culture safe and respectful. Your contributions go far and wide and you will be missed. We wish you all the best in your next phase of motherhood and hope you return to visit.
Related, I'm pleased to announce that Dan Gilbert will join us next year as the new PA Culture Coordinator. Many of you know him from his work with us via LCMH. He has worked there for the past 14 years and will bring a wealth of skill and knowledge to the position. You might spot him this summer as he helps lead the summer LCMH programming that happens here at PA.

Go check it - all done!! |
Building/Safety Reminders:
Please remember to alert the office if you are bringing your classes outside. It is important to complete a field trip form if you are walking to town. If you do head into town, please check to make sure all students have permission (Michele can easily tell you). When taking students outside please set clear boundaries and expectations, and avoid sending students outside unaccompanied. Please do not prop any doors open. Thanks and enjoy the Spring - it goes quickly.
