October 31 - Happy Halloween

If it feels like things are busy, that's because it is busy. Haunted House, Mix it UP, PSAT & SAT's, Art show, music concerts and musical coming up soon, grade periods ending, playoffs starting and going, and going... You'd never know we just had a break. Thus, my first Halloween gift to you is no Best Practice Monday October 31st. Truth be told, it was never scheduled anyway, but I think we all thought we had one this Monday. I will be in the library at 3pm if folks want to meet with me and I'm open to hearing your ideas about how to plan the November 11th In-service day. The Leadership Team will also be discussing this on Tuesday at 3pm. By the way, thanks to everyone who helped with Mix it UP (Moira and Rebecca in particular) and those who helped with the Asylum (especially Reeves & Rebecca) Take care and enjoy.

Calendar:

10/31 - Best Practice - 3pm (costume required) CANCELLED
11/11 - In-Service
11/14 - Winter Sports Meeting (brrrrr!!)
11/16 - Art and Music Show 6pm
11/17-19 - Musical - Legally Blonde 7pm

Trick or Treat - There is a Halloween Gift in your mailbox
Image result for pumpkin carving   It's not what you think. We've designed and provided you with your own photo ID tag and lanyard. You can wear it on your pants pocket, around your neck, or some other way that makes it visible at a glance. This is something that staff in all LSSU schools are doing this year. Many of our partner organizations, such as, LCMH, already have ID tags and now we will, too. Thanks for understanding and let's see who comes up with the most creative (and visible) way to sport their new ID.
