April 1 - Grading Issue

Art Show and Music Concert this Tuesday!
Important Grading Update:

Seriously, you need to sit down before you read on. Did you notice the electrical surge on Saturday night. It was during the first Final 4 basketball game if you were watching. I actually lost my connection for about 5 minutes. This upset my dad and son more than I, who were watching the game with me. It was a nice pre-easter moment for the boys in the family. This was around 8:17 eastern time, I've been told, in case you are keeping track. Ok, now the next few sentences are what you need to be sitting down for, really.

Folks were working at this time in central office. They were loading grades. Um, and, yep, you guessed it. The power surge deleted the entire grading record from this year. The entire Mastery Report record from the past 3 quarters was wiped out. We met early this morning to figure out what to do. Unfortunately, everyone needs to go back into Schoology and export all grades from the past 3 quarters. We need this done by Tuesday at noon so we can get the new grades sent home. Let me know how I can help. Sorry.

Oh, apparently the surge was due to the Easter Bunny's carriage crashing into Morrisville Water & Light. I guess the bunny was getting ready to set up an easter egg hunt by the elementary school. The bunny was attempting to cut through the back trails. Needless to say, we'll be serving egg salad sandwiches tomorrow in the cafeteria.

SBAC is going strong!

The real grading update:

THANK YOU!! You worked hard and graciously to complete your Q3 grading and all that went along with it. It is noticed and appreciated that you do this with patience and understanding. I know there questions and concerns out there about how this will all come together. We will continue to try to answer your questions and help make it clear. As you have, please continue to let me know your questions, needs, and concerns. Thanksl

On that note, as soon as you can, please complete your Q4 narratives and your Q4 target verification rosters (yellow paper) - they should all be a P.
