April 1

Whoa!, please prepare for a last minute change to the weekly schedule resulting from a freak change to the weather. Forecasts call for sunny and 80's all week. I decided to plan a last minute all school trip to Elmore State Park on TUESDAY to celebrate the arrival of Spring....or is it summer? We are planning events, such as, iceberg dodging in canoes, sugar on snow, and glissade racing. It's gunna be fun.

Just chillin', no wait! The new way to do work at PA  - wall sits while conferencing, emailing, studying or, well, that one kid looks like he's actually in PE, so I guess while doing .PE class, too

Food for thought.....

The above image is from the slide show shared during our last in-service. I found these ideas to be something worth 'hanging onto' and a revisit. They are simple ideas that could help with the equity work. They remind me of the comment that Marc made during our closing about using the word 'and' rather than 'but' during conferences. Simple, but powerful.

I want to thank you all for your efforts to be engaged, collaborative and responsive during the past several in-service days. We've had several days that provided both support and lots to think about and do. Thank you for your effort to absorb it all, stay involved, and to be present. I know it's a lot and I have appreciated your engagement and energy during the work.
