March 25 - Wow, it's almost April!?!

The Faces of the Community Project seems to grow every week. *By the way, on May 17, there will be schoolwide service, events, OXbow lunch, performances, etc as a result of this work. It will not be a day of regular classes.

I've enjoyed visiting classes the past few weeks. I've appreciated the positive climate and respectful behavior in everyone's classes. I'm impressed with your use of scales, targets, and Scholarly Habits. I know our transition is super hard and confusing, but I see countless examples of you trying to make growth. It's also great to see you laughing, discussing, encouraging, and being creative with students. You are amazing people and teachers. Thanks for your hard work.

Check out how this scale comes to life.

During Best Practice this Monday you will have time to work on Term Narratives, setting Targets in Powerschool, etc. On April 4th, we have an early release day for you to work on inputting grades. Please be aware of the  Quarter 3 grading timeline.

Furthermore, as we enter the final two weeks of the semester, we encourage you to take some class time to have students check in on their 'status'. Ask them to review their Schoology gradebook and assignments to see how they are doing and determine what they need to do to improve. If they have questions and needs ask them to sign up for Flextime with you. Thanks!
