January 14 - We are half way through the year!

Future Speakers of America - student present their final words in Public Speaking

Congratulations on completing Semester 1!  You have accomplished a lot in the past few months, despite our many challenges. Our kids and community are in a much better place because of your hard work, commitment and willingness to be here. As our week winded down it was fun to see the many ways that you asked student to demonstrate their learning. (see pictures below & above) Thank you.

We hardy have time to catch our breath before kicking off semester 2. But today and Monday offer us a little time to connect, share ideas, finish up grading and jump into planning. In-Service on Monday will be school based and in-person at PA. (Unless the weather requires us to stay home - so bring home your things you might need.) School is a safe place for us to meet. The majority of our work will focus on two district wide goals: high quality instruction and equity. In the morning we will focus on instruction through our district wide curriculum collaborative teams. Your cross district teams will have specific time to meet via Google Meet. In the afternoon, we will be with PA only folks. Lunch is provided.
