These guys are having fun

Thanks for another excellent week of school. I'm starting to see people on staff get together afterschool for things like xc skiing, attending games together and other things. This is great for our staff culture. Let's keep that up and continue to invite others to join in. Next Thursday or Friday after school -  in-service will be good times to hang together.

Free Tech PD - Toni and John M offering a one hour Newsela session from 3-4pm on February 2nd at PA and February 9th at Stowe (building TBD). Newsela is available for all teachers, and the passages are designed for learners in grades 3-12.

Celebrations: 

Congratulations to Senior Shelby W who surpassed 1000 points on Thursday night v. Spaulding. She is the first (on record) PA basketball player to score 1000+ points in a career. By the way, the team is pretty good, too. Come check out a game before they go to Barre and the games are sold out! 

Senior Josie S going for 2 against Lamoille on Tuesday night.

Congrats to Senior Andi T, who last night won the local Rotary Speech contest. She earned $200 in scholarship and advances to the state level competition.
