May 26: And now it's time for Prom

It's sacrifices like these (pictured above and below (dunk tank)) that do not go unnoticed and go a long way toward building our strong, positive, and and collaborative community at PA.  A lot of work, thinking, patience, and trust went into making last Friday work, the events of this week, next week..... and it's this same effort that makes PA a good place to learn and work.

Thank you all for the countless ways you sacrifice each day, trust each other (and our students), and demonstrate deep patience. Have a great long weekend.....and to those of you chaperoning our two big events this weekend - THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

Be sure to check out all the awesome chairs downtown. Students were given the theme of ‘The beauty in Natural Disasters’ this year and they put some amazing creativity into it. Students were challenged to find the beauty in natural disasters, because they can make for some gorgeous and spectacular moments. They can become scary when humans and animals are involved. Thus, one of the requirements was to exclude humans and animals, and simply show the stunning events that occur naturally on our planet Earth.

Quote of the Week:

Food for thought:

“The only way to help my students think well that I’m aware of is the same as it’s always been. They’ve got to know things, argue about things, read things, write things, and speak and listen about things.”

Dave Stuart Jr. in his April 30, 2023 online article on dealing with ChatGPT
