Welcome Back - these notes are for 3/2-3/13

Thanks to everyone for helping to make Winter Carnival fun and safe. Special thanks to the Culture Committee (Rebecca, Bob R, Lesley S, Averill, and Steve H + many students) who are having a huge impact on maintaining and growing our positive school vibes. That was a great way to go into break and another example of how awesome our school is....even though the snow never came. I heard lots of talk about expanding and improving for next.....write your thoughts down now and send them to the culture committee so they have the notes when planning starts for next here. Interesting Link: The New SAT

Thanks to the chaperons for helping with a successful Valentines Day Dance (Rebecca, Rachel, Peter G, Marc D, Karen P, Bill C) 

Celebrations: 

Alexis Faith won the 100m Back Stroke and placed 3rd in the 100 freestyle at the Vt State Meet just prior to the Winter Break. She swims for Edge Swim Club in Williston.

Winter Carnival Fun!

Kylee Willlette qualified for the President's Volunteer Service Award. This award recognizes students who have volunteered significant hours to serve their community. Kylee volunteered for a number of things ranging from tutoring, mentoring, helping to create the student writing magazine called 'The Void' to starting the PA Q & A, to numerous service events with Upward Bound, such as, "Warm the Children".

And Susannah Slabinski....it's another boy...Tanner Franklin Slabinski. Born February 24th at 8:36 pm. 7 lbs 10 oz 21" long, and lots and lots of hair!
