October 29 - Have a Spooktacular Weekend

Here are some spooky tales for a good weekend read.

Congratulations on completing Quarter #1. If we were a pizza pie, we'd be down two slices already. But, we're not pizza. We are a highly functioning team that accomplished a lot in a short time period. We successfully re-integrated our entire student body (and ourselves) into a full academic schedule. We stayed open and kept school safe and positive. We taught a full course load and incredibly rich curriculum*. We executed fun and positive all school in-person community events, such as, community meeting and the pep rally. We successfully completed a season of sports and re-started numerous clubs including drama. Thank you for your hard work, patience, and persistence in making school great in so many ways.

* This week alone I learned about a Nigerian author, comets, sand storms, cell biology, ratios & slope, good fats v bad fats, We-video, the Morrisville Conservation Core (& other local businesses), Morrisville Gov't, the periodic table, proper badminton backhand form, 4 things to do when approached by an emergency vehicle, cryptocurrency, Barbara Kingsolver, the book Feed, correct use of charcoal pastel, Free Markets ($$), students favorite places in the natural world, and much more; plus student (scholarly) habits, some related to time management.
